New at Chrono Aviation
Starting May 16th , tickets for this new scheduled service will be available directly from the Chrono Aviation website. Starting August 6th, the company will offer 4 round-trip flights a week to Iqaluit. The flights will be operated aboard the newest aircraft in the fleet, a Boeing 737-800. There will be 4 departures a week from MET airport’s Lux private terminal, and, of course, 4 flights a week from Iqaluit to Montreal’s South Shore. The 2 h 55-minute direct flights will be offered at a single fare of $699 per person one-way, including all fees and services! No surprises, no hidden fees and no price increases based on demand. 699$ per year, including one carry-on bag, one checked bag, seat selection and even a hot meal.

Chrono Aviation is taking advantage of its fleet renewal and the arrival of the new Boeing 737-800 NG to conquer new markets. The Boeing 737-800 is a new-generation aircraft and is much quieter than the older models used to land on gravel runways. The 800 can also accommodate 187 passengers, far more than the 120 seats on aircraft currently in service. “A change was needed following the new noise regulations at MET airport, and we believe the Boeing 737-800 is a forward-looking choice. Chrono Aviation intends to add 2 more Boeing 737-800s over the next 12 to 18 months,” confirms Mr. Gagnon.
