(Permanent/full time/based at Québec)
The candidate will function as a Crew Scheduler in the operational control centre. To succeed, candidates must have proven communication and organizational skills. The candidate must also demonstrate superb internal customer service skills, be comfortable in stressful conditions and be a self-starter.
Proactively reassigning crews to meet daily operational requirements and communicating same with Flight Crew and Dispatch colleagues;
Liaising and communicating with all Flight Crew in all matters pertaining to crew schedules including block change advisories;
Prepare and send daily check-in sheets;
Complete daily checklists as provided by Supervisor, Crew Planning and Scheduling;
Liase with Payroll administrator;
Manage crew hotel and transport bookings (daily and monthly).
Between 1-3 years Airline operation experience - previous crew scheduling experience would be preferred;
Must be effective in oral and written communications, time management and problem-solving skills;
Must possess strong computer processing skills;
Post-secondary diploma or degree;
Working knowledge of transport jet aircraft operating regulations, documentation and equipment;
Ability to work well under time and resource constraints within a team environment;
Must be able to work flexible hours and willing to work weekends.
