On Wednesday, October 9, was held the official ground breaking ceremony of the impressive Chrono Aviation hangar construction project at Montreal Saint-Hubert Longueuil Airport (AMSL). With a surface area of 66,000 square feet, it is the largest hangar of the decade built in Quebec. It will be able to hold two Boeing 737-800’s and several business jets.
Chrono Aviation is proud to partner with Baffinland Iron Mines and the Qajuqturvik Food Centre to help create career opportunities for community members in Iqaluit. With these partnerships, Baffinland recently provided a significant financial contribution to the Qajuqturvik Food Centre.
Chrono Aviation is pleased to announce that Captain Steve Lane has joined our team. Steve brings an immense amount of flying experience to our organization, most recently having worked with Cargojet Airlines at the helm of the Boeing 767 widebody freighter aircraft. Returning to his favourite aircraft, the Boeing 737-200, Steve will oversee training of our crews, and get to fly across Canada’s Arctic, where he has spent most of his career.
Chrono Aviation unveils a notable addition to its fleet: its first Boeing 737-200. This plane, which can carry around 120 passengers or various combinations of passengers and cargo, is the world’s only Boeing that’s able to take off from and land on 5,000-foot unpaved strips. With this acquisition, Chrono Aviation becomes one of the few companies to offer an aircraft of that size for chartering.
